The Gateway, Oak Forest, Illinois
RSC & Associates has been chosen as the Master Developer of The Gateway, a mixed-use residential and retail development, (the “Project”) in the City of Oak Forest.
The Project is located at the intersections of 159th Street and Cicero Avenue, approximately 22 miles south of Chicago’s Loop and is the Gateway entrance to the Oak Forest train station that serves approximately 1,600 weekday commuters on Metra’s Rock Island District Line, which runs between Joliet and Downtown Chicago.
The mixed-use, transit oriented development contains a total of 78 condominium units in 2 adjacent 5 story buildings with 13,750 square feet of in-line retail space in the base of each building. In addition to the residential buildings and in-line retail space, the Project includes an additional 27,000 square feet of space located in 4 buildings and is anticipated to include a CVS, National City Bank, and a full-service restaurant along with other service and convenient stores.
Retail Outlots will be completed in September 2008.
