Jared B. Margolis

Jared B. Margolis is a Senior Vice President of RSC & Associate and Principal of
L Cubed, the industrial division of RSC & Associates. Mr. Margolis graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Economics in 1997. He has been involved in the real estate industry since 1996 when he completed an internship for Industrial Building & Development Company (“IBD”), a private, entrepreneurial firm that managed, leased, and developed industrial real estate for its own portfolio. At IBD, Mr. Margolis was involved with the management and leasing of over a 3.0 million square foot portfolio.

In September 1997, IBD merged with Prime Group Realty Trust ( PGE ) a real estate investment trust traded on the NYSE where Mr. Margolis served as the Leasing and Development Manager for its Industrial Division. In this position, he took part in the development of more than 500,000 square feet of both speculative and build-to-suit industrial facilities, and leased more than 750,000 square feet of both new construction and existing buildings. The development process included the master planning and zoning approvals required for each development.

Mr. Margolis has also worked on the leasing, redevelopment, and management of hotel and mixed-use properties. He is currently spearheading the development of the Hyatt Place and Hyatt Summerfield Suites Hotels in downtown Milwaukee .

Since entering the real estate market, Mr. Margolis has been involved in transactions totaling over $100 million in value and is a member of the Young Industrial Brokers Association and the Council of Logistics Management. In 2001, Mr. Margolis was nominated for the Chicago Chapter NAIOP Suburban Industrial Transaction of the Year. He is an active volunteer for the Jewish United Fund and is on the YBO Board of the Parkways Foundation.
